Tri-Lakes Town Square Is Here. And It Belongs to You.
Something has been missing from the Tri-Lakes for a long time. Not news — there is plenty of news. What has been missing is a place where that news belongs to the community that lives it.
Something has been missing from the Tri-Lakes for a long time.
Not news. There is plenty of news. There is a paper that has been here for 130 years. There are TV stations in Burlington and Plattsburgh. There are websites that aggregate headlines. What has been missing is a place that belongs to the people who actually live here.
Tri-Lakes Town Square is that place.
It is free. It always will be. No paywall. No subscription. No ads. No corporate office making decisions about what your community deserves to know. Just neighbors. Watching. Reporting. Telling each other what is happening on the street they live on, in the school their kids attend, at the town board meeting they could not make it to.
We cover Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Tupper Lake. Not from a distance. From inside.
Here Is How It Works
You see something — a fire, a town board vote, a road closure, something that does not feel right — you tap Report. You tell us what you saw. We review it and publish it. Your name or anonymous. Your choice.

What We Need From You
If you see something, file a report. Tap Report. Tell us what you saw. We will take it from there.
We do not cover the town. We are the town.
