How to Report
Anyone can break a story here. You do not need a press pass. You do not need to be a writer. You just need to know something your neighbors should know too.
How to Submit a Report
Tap the + Report button at the top of any page. Fill in three things: a headline, the details, and your category. That is it.
What Happens Next
Every submission goes to our editors for review before it goes live. We check that the information is accurate and that it does not put anyone at risk. Most reports are reviewed within a few hours.
Anonymous Tips
You never have to give your name. Anonymous submissions are accepted for every category. If you want to stay anonymous, just leave the name field blank. We protect sources. No exceptions.
What We Cover
Breaking news, road and traffic conditions, property assessments, school board decisions, fires and emergencies, government meetings, court cases, community events, and anything else that matters to people who live in the Tri-Lakes.
What We Do Not Publish
Unverified rumors, personal attacks on private individuals, content designed to harass, and anything that could endanger someone's safety. Reports represent the views of the submitter, not the Tri-Lakes Town Square editorial team.
Sources Are Always Protected
If you tell us something in confidence, it stays that way. We will never reveal a source without explicit permission.
Photos and Video
You can attach photos and video to any report. If you witnessed something — a fire, a crash, a town meeting — show us what you saw.
Your neighbors are watching. Be the first to tell them.
